Feedback from LTR Early Years Settings Storytime Visits

Spring 2020

Toybox Preschool January 2020: We love Shark in the Park and the children really enjoyed this.

Central Area Nursery January 2020: The children really enjoyed joining in along with the story even some children with EAL tried to join in by shouting at 'shark'. As soon as the singing started a child came over and joined in with the songs, they don't usually do this.

NW Area Nursery January 2020: The session was enjoyed by all the children and their parents. The children were very engaged and joined in. The use of the props were amazing an the children loved them. It was a lovely experience for the children as there was a good range of age appropriate books for them as some children don't have that opportunity at home and it was lovely to see some parents join in too as the children may not get that experience at home either.

SW Area Setting February 2020: I have spoken to the staff and the feedback is really positive. They said that the children were really engaged and listened well, even the ones that are usually a little bit more reluctant. The props were a great success, especially the caterpillar, making the stories even more engaging. The children did talk about the books after the session, especially the older children who wanted to continue reading and also draw pictures from the story.

Central Area Setting January 2020: The session was great. Fantastic interaction from you towards the children and encouragement for the children to join in. The children loved the different books.

Bluebells Nursery February 2020: Bluebells children really enjoyed story time, the readers where so engaging with the children as well as enthusiastic. Some of our children who are EAL where really engaged as the props used helped them to understand the stories better, even if they didn't understand the words. Bluebells is really greatful to have been given this opportunity!
