We have a team of 50 dedicated volunteers.

We currently have 4 volunteer roles:

• some volunteers support our 3 weekly Let's Talk Babies sessions in Gainsborough, Chantry and Whitehouse. These take place on Friday mornings (9.45 to 11.15am), Thursday afternoons (1.15 to 2.45pm) and Wednesday afternoons (1.15 to 2.45pm) respectively.
  
• other volunteers work in pairs to offer 45 minute Storytimes to groups of children in nurseries across Ipswich, usually doing about 6 sessions a term.
  
• we also have a team of 30 reading coaches (Let's Read Ipswich), who give 1-to-1 coaching to adults who struggle with reading for about 1 hour each week.
  
• we also have some volunteers who help with admin tasks, including keeping the accounts, monitoring our impact on local literacy levels and packing book-bags.
  

All volunteers get induction training and are supported by experienced colleagues.
