LTR Wins Major Grant from SCC

Suffolk County Council has awarded LTR a substantial grant to extend its literacy improvement work over the next 10 months.
As well as developing our existing services for parents and babies, and early years settings, we will be partnering with 2 or 3 primary schools on literacy improvement plans.
We are also intending to do some ground-breaking work to investigate whether Irlens syndrome is causing many children to struggle to read.
Additionally, we hope to set up two contracts with University of Suffolk to develop a business case for screening pupils who are weak readers and to improve our Impact Evaluation.
