We are partnering with Happy Babies ltd (HB) to run a number of parent and baby groups across Ipswich.

Sessions are aimed at parents with babies up to 15 months old, and older siblings are welcome.

Happy Babies facilitate the sessions with a themed set of sensory stimuli for the babies, delivered in a way that engages the parents. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly, and parents form informal peer support groups which last beyond the LTB sessions.

LTR volunteers support the sessions, providing refreshments and operating a 'baby bank' of clothes, nappies and books.

We started our first group in Gainsborough in January 2022. It operates from 9.45 to 11.15 every Friday morning in the All Hallows Church Hall on Landseer Road.

Our second session takes place in Chantry, at the Oaks Primary School, from 1.15 to 2.45pm on Thursday afternoons, and our third session is on Wedenesday afternoons, between 1.15 and 2.45pm in Whitehouse, at the Whitehouse Baptist Church Hall.

We hope to be able to open further sessions in the next couple of years.
