Working With Schools

Helping Local Schools

LTR work with schools that want to close the gap in their SATs results, and want to encourage the belief that every child can leave primary school reading effectively.

We want to partner with all Ipswich schools, particularly those in disadvantaged areas, so that we can work together to ensure that every one of their pupils/students learns to be an effective reader before leaving school.

See results from projects we have completed with schools:

  • The Oaks Primary School (Reading in the Curriculum Report)
  • Ranelagh Primary School (Irlen Report and Extensive Reading Report 2025)
  • Ravenswood Primary School (Irlen Report and Extensive Reading Report 2025)

Collaborate with LTR

LTR work with schools by:

  • Providing Books to pupils from Reception to Year 6
    • Including Dual Language books for the school to have as resources (Mantra Lingua)
  • Access to our volunteers who are part of the School Readers charity
  • Literacy hub: Online webinars where schools can discuss their literacy needs
  • Projects to help weaker readers
  • Projects to identify additional needs that may go unnoticed

We are open to speaking with schools and teachers to form ideas on how best to support your school's individual needs. For more information as a school or teacher, click below.
